Zuolong salleei

Zuolong was a basal coelurosaur, specifically a Tyrannoraptoran; that is to say, part of a clade that encompasses itself, the Tyrannosauroidea and Maniraptoromorpha. This animal is known from a relatively complete juvenile specimen that was not fully grown at around 3 meters (9.8 feet). The Adult may have been around 4-4.5 meters (13-15 feet) in length. It was a lithe, agile predator of small-medium game with grasping hands and robust jaws and teeth. Zuolong lived during the Oxfordian epoch of the Late Jurassic, in China.
